- Standard Card Deck

[2]. Game Set

To begin, one player will be the dealer. Shuffle the cards well and begin dealing. Every player will be dealt 6 Face-Down Cards. You do not get to look at your cards at this point in the game. Once every player has their 6 cards, the dealer will place the remainder of the deck in the middle of your playing-space face down.

They will then flip the top card face up and set it to the side. This will become the discard pile. Here is an example after the deal of the 3 person game.

Every player should arrange their 6 cards in a 3 x 2 pattern. It will be three cards across, and two cards down. Keep your cards face down while you are arranging them. Since you can’t see what the cards are, what order you put them in does not matter.

[3]. Game Progress

Objective: Get the lowest total score possible, like in golf.

- The game has 9 rounds (or 18 for a longer game).
The player with the lowest total score at the end wins.

Scoring:
Cards in the same column with the same value score 0 points for that column, including Jokers.
Each card type has a different point value.

* Golf Card Game Scoring

Ace = 1 Point
2 – 10 = Face Value
Jack & Queen = 10 Points
King = 0 Points
Joker = -2 Points

Gameplay:
Flip or turn over cards to find ones with low points or “Power” cards.
Pairing cards (same value in the same row) cancels them out, scoring 0 points.
Try to pair unpaired cards to reduce your score.
Collect Kings, Aces, and Jokers as they can be useful.
Avoid high-value cards like unpaired Jacks or 10s as they increase your score.

Strategy:
Aim for the lowest cards and pair them up.
Remove high penalty cards if they aren’t paired.

* How To Start Playing Golf Card Game

- First Rotation
The player to the left of the dealer goes first. They flip over 2 of their 6 cards (their choice).

Then they can either take the face-up card from the discard pile or draw an unknown card from the draw pile.
If they draw a card, they must discard one of their current cards (which is face-up or face-down).
The discarded card can be one they already flipped over or one that is still face down.

- Next Player:
The next player (clockwise) takes their turn, following the same steps.

- Rest of the Round
1. Turn Options:

* Players continue in clockwise order from the dealer.
* On their turn, they can either:

Flip over one card (end their turn).
Draw a card from the deck or discard pile and exchange it with one of their cards (face-up or face-down).

- Final Round
1. Triggering the Final Round:

Begins when one player turns over all their cards.
All other players get one more turn; the player who turned all their cards does not get another turn.

2. Scoring:

After the final turns, all remaining face-down cards are turned face up.
Players calculate their points and keep a tally.
