MEMORY
2 - 8 Players
The object is to collect
as many pairs as possible.
The winner is the player
with the most pairs
at the end of the game.
If you can scan the QR code above,
you can also see it on your mobile!
<Components>
- 72 cards
(36 pairs)
<Set Up>
Place the cards
picture-side down
on the table,
then shuffle them and
arrange them in rows
to make a rectangle.
<Game Progress>
The youngest player goes first,
then continue playing the game
in a clockwise direction.
The player whose turn
it is turns over two cards
so everyone can see them.
If the cards have
the same two pictures,
then the player keeps
these two cards and turns over
two new ones.
This continues until
the player turns over two cards
that do not match.
If the pictures on the cards
do not match,
they are turned face-down again.
The next player
continues with the game.
If a player turns over two cards
which do not match,
but knows where a third
is which would give a pair,
they may not turn
this third card over on that turn.
They have to wait
until their next turn.
<How to Finish the Game>
The game is over when
the last pair of cards
has been turned over.
Now the players stack all
their cards in a tower.
The winner is the player with
the most pairs of cards
and thus the highest tower.
In the event of a draw,
another round is played
using 9 pairs of cards.
<Variation>
In the fist game, or when
younger children are playing,
a reduced amount of cards
can be used.
The number of cards in play
can be increased gradually.
